23 May National Thank You Day
In celebration of National “Thank You Day” on June 5th 2023 Little Me Day Nurseries is donating all proceeds from book sales of its book titled Thank You Day to MCKS Charitable Foundation UK.
Nursery Owner Mandy Khaira is “proud to be supporting the charity and its efforts to provide caring compassionate support through its school pantry cupboards across the UK”.
The MCKS Charity provides schools across the country with food, toiletries and sanitary products so that children have consistent access to essential supplies through their School Pantry Cupboards. They also run breakfast clubs and provide emergency supplies over schools holidays and during exam times for children and families who may be struggling.
Mark Willis Head of Fundraising for the charity comments “We are extremely grateful to all of our corporate partners for their efforts in fundraising for our charity. Little Me Day Nurseries has been supporting the charity in a creative range of activities, events and sponsorship deals to fundraise for our school pantry cupboards. Thank you to the staff, parents and children at the nurseries for all their efforts”.
The interactive books written by the nursery owner cover personal, social and emotional issues for pre-school children through topics such as manners, diversity and equality, new siblings and first day at nursery and encourage a love of reading by engaging with the child through questions and games.
