Children at Little Me Day Nursery have been honouring fallen soldiers, by making poppy biscuits and wreaths from their handprints.
Ahead of Remembrance Day the pre-school children dedicated a whole week to commemorating those who lost their lives during the world wars. Their celebrations included making a big ‘Nursery Poppy’ wreath from their handprints and icing poppy biscuits. They also visited the poppy stand in Surrey Quays to donate and get their own poppy.
